Passed away Friday Feb.7. 2014 at Oliver Woods, Owosso. Age 79. Dorothy Bila was born Dec.12,1934 in Oakley. Her parents were Peter and Stephania Bila. She married Harold Stoll on Oct.6,1956. He passed away on Feb.11, 1973 at the age of 45.
Dorothy was a life long resident of Oakley. She served many years on the Oakley Village Council. She served as postmaster of Oakley for more than 25 years until she retired in 1994. Dorothy mainly enjoyed her time with her family, especially many years of sleepovers with her granddaughters. Her hobbies were vacationing with friends and going to the casino. Her spare time was spending evenings with friends and playing a good round of Yatzee and having a beer. Dorothy spent the last four years as a resident of Oliver Woods in Owosso. Leaving many staff members as her other special family.
Those left to mourn her include her 2 sons and daughter in law: Michael (Janet) Stoll and Jeffrey Stoll. 3 Granddaughters: Katrina (Brock) Fisher, Kaylee (Michael) Casassa, and Kelsey Stoll. 3 Great Grandchildren (one on the way) Lexie, Austin and Blake Fisher and Baby Casassa (June 2014). Her brothers: Frank (Sue) Bila and Richard (Shirley) Bila. Many special nieces and nephews. Special Cousins: Bill (MaryAnn) Stasek and Barb White. Special Friends: Margaret Jordan and Betty Fogel.
Dorothy has been cremated. The family will be present to greet family and friends on Wed., Feb12,2014 from 4-8pm at The Misiuk Funeral Home, Chesaning. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 pm.
