On Sunday, July 24, 2016, Carol went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer.   She was 68 years old.  Carol was born in Owosso, Michigan on June 14, 1948.  She was a daughter of Jesse and Ethel (Hayt) Adelberg.  Carol married Michael August Andres and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2014.  Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had worked at Hehr International of Chesaning and Gracie’s Restaurant of Burt.  She was a rock collector and a gardener and enjoyed canning her own vegetables.   She loved being a grandmother.

 

Carol is survived by her loving children, Steven (Amber) Andres, Melissa (Frank) Baker, Matthew (Sha'Ree) Andres, Aaron (Rebecca) Andres, and Nicholas Andres; her beloved grandchildren, Kayla, Aniyah, Adam, Damon, Luke, Mya, and Artem; her brothers and sisters, Janet Good, Carl Adelberg, Ellen (Jim) Glynn, Alta Dinius, Ken (Bev) Adelberg, Jerry (Jackie) Adelberg, Tom (Rita) Adelberg, Linda (Cal) Pearsall, Jean (Dave) Struck, Dan (Sherry) Adelberg, and Bob Adelberg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Peg Adelberg, Ray (Dorothy) Andres,  Ken (Judy) Andres, Jane (Frank) Kral,  Marian LeRoux, Jim (Connie) Andres, Denny (Joan) Andres, Lenore Andres, Harry Andres, and Art (Diane) Andres; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Loved ones who have passed before her include her parents, Jesse and Ethel Adelberg; her brother, Keith Adelberg; her sister, Julia Fett; her sister and brother-in-law, Marian and Bud Marrah; brothers-in-law, Bob Andres, Dan LeRoux, and Les Good; sisters-in-law, Agnes Andres, Karen Adelberg and Angie Adelberg; and beloved granddaughter, A'myracle Andres. 

 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, July 29, 2016, at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove.  Fr. John Cotter will officiate.  Visitation will be from Noon-8:30 pm Thursday at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.  A Scripture Service will take place Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  Carol’s family will be present at the church to welcome friends from 10:00 am Friday until time of the Mass.
