Passed away Tuesday afternoon January 17, 2017, at Union Court Assisted Living in St. Charles. Her age was 85. Graveside prayers will take place on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Ridge Road Cemetery, Brady Twp. Pastor John Miller will officiate.
Betty was born February 3, 1931, in Brady Twp. Her parents were Harry and Edna (Munger) Nixon.
Betty had worked at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, for 28 years as a nurses aide.
Her husband Arnold passed away in 2005. Those left to mourn her loss include 3 sons and their spouses, Randy (Pat) Braeutigan of Chesaning, Kim (Deborah) Braeutigan of Oakley, Carl (Cindy) Braeutigan of Oakley; grandchildren, Kristi Rosencrans, Stephanie Braeutigan, David Braeutigan, Aimee Braeutigan, Michael Braeutigan, Julie (Rich) Cyburt, Brandi (Tyler) French; 10 great grandchildren; her 3 brothers, Tom (JoAnn) Nixon, Richard Nixon, Clifford (Colleen) Nixon; and other loving family and friends. Those who have passed before her include her sister, Ada Serbus, and brother-in-law, James Serbus.
