Passed away Friday evening May 19, 2017, at Covenant-Harrison Hospital, Saginaw. Age 77. She was born October 16, 1939, in Fairfield Twp., Lenawee County, Michigan. Her parents were Bruce J. and Elizabeth L. (Glanz) Shaw.
She married Albert Rehmann on February 7, 1959, at Resurrection Catholic Church, Lansing. She has been a caring wife and mother to her husband and six children, Deborah Hunt (Keith Feldpaush) of Dewitt, Greg Rehmann of Holly, Kimberly (Rubin) Espinoza of Lawton, MI, Kristine Beckman of Chesaning, Denise (Dave) Gasper of Chesaning, and Sandra (Robert) Martin of St. Johns; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her brother and two sisters, Robert (Mary) Shaw of Laingsburg, Gloria Jean Fox of Eaton Rapids, and Madonna Shaw-Abood of Wisconsin.
Special children are Beth and Albert's God Daughters: Lori Mort, Kellie Patton, Lori Abood, Marci Long and Kristen Greenfelder, along with many nieces and nephews.
Precious loved ones that have passed away include her two sons-in-laws, Charles Hunt and Keith Beckman; her parents, brother, William; and brother-in-law, John Fox.
Beth was on the original panel to start the parish council and commissions at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She served for 17 years. She was also a a charter member and served as President to the Chesaning Area Jaycetts, becoming a Booster Member. She enjoyed many hours of watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports activities. She enjoyed participation in foreign exchange programs, acting as mother to Rogerio Rocha Lauses of Brasil and Neale Maude of Australia.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday May 23, 2017, from 2:30-8:00 pm at the Misiuk Funeral Home, Chesaning. A Rosary will be said at 7:30 that evening at the funeral home.
The funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday May 24, 2017, at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, Chesaning. Rev. Fr. William Gruden will officiate. The family will be at church to welcome friends starting at 10:00 am.
