Anna V. Zyrowski

Of Chesaning, Michigan

 

Passed away early Sunday morning, January 15, 2017, at Union Court Assisted Living in St. Charles.  She was 87 years old.  Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017, at St. Peter Parish Catholic Church, 404 South Wood Street, Chesaning.  Fr. William Gruden will officiate.  Her family will be present at the church to welcome friends from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of the Mass.

 

Anna was born in Caro, Michigan on June 10, 1929.  She was the daughter of Vincent and Anna (Rochowiak) Sochocki.  She married Frank Zyrowski.  Together with her husband and their family, they owned and operated Frank’s Supermarkets in Chesaning and St. Charles.  She enjoyed going to the Casino, gardening, and baking.

 

Those left to mourn her loss include her husband, Frank; their children, Janet (Tony) Sutter of Chesaning, Ron (Deb) Zyrowski of St. Charles, Carol (Dale) Muirhead of Chesaning, Karen (Chuck) Bruff of Chesaning, Sharon (Steve) Bitterman of Chesaning, and Mark (Jody) Zyrowski of Chesaning; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; a sister, Stella Smith of Milan; many nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends.  Those who have passed before her include her parents; two brothers, William Sochocki and Raymond Sochocki; and five sisters, Rosie Ceicoria, Mary Kusek, Frances Rusk, Florence Zyrowski, and Barbara Sziegel.

 

Charitable donations given in remembrance of Anna may be made to any local charity or church.  Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
